So you saw part 1 here right? Well if not, go back, watch, it’s a good time! Once we hit up Millennium Park, it start raining! And then Kim and Rob took off running, I walked. It cleared up and we hit up Kinzie St. Bridge for just a few more photos and then it was off to the reception at Holiday Inn Mart Plaza! It was fun and Kim and Rob even had a surprise first dance!
Kim and Rob were definitely one of my favorite couples. It started at their engagement session when they jumped in the fountain in Millennium Park and well, they’re Bears fans and that’s good with me! They definitely knew how to relax on their wedding day despite many obstacles which I will now list
1. Kim got bit by her dog a few days before the wedding, the stitch had to come out on her wedding day (which you will see in the slideshow!)
2. Her other beloved dog died just days before the wedding
3. The limo for the girls, got a flat tire (but a random stranger with a superman belt helped change it!)
4. The limo’s didn’t exactly have air blasting.
5. The coppers at North Ave beach wouldn’t let us park there so the limos had to return and pick us up on the side of the on ramp to Lake Shore Dr.
6. It was hot. Very very hot.
7. The rings got lost….but found!
8. I got bit by something but was not allergic wahoo!
9. and probably more, but I don’t remember…
The moral of this story was, that Kim and Rob didn’t let all of the craziness damper their day, they had fun, they laughed and it was all fine! Their wedding pictures are some of my favorites! I just love the ones of them in the financial district! And they did have a wonderful long honeymoon where I’m sure their adventure continued! You’ll also see that Kim had all the girls sign her shoe, and the one who’s name was most legible by the end of the night would be the next to get married or have a baby
