Marisa and I have been planning for months about when we could do this session between work schedules and weather, we finally made it last Sunday!  Marisa and Tim have been married for 2 years now and she was eager to get new pictures done with their dog Polly whom you may remember!  I love Polly, she’s a goofy lab and you all know how I feel about goofy labs.  We decided to do a right before sunset session in a forest preserve up near Milwaukee…and Wisconsin does not mess around with their preserves!  It was more forest than I imagined   But we worked it!

So remember back when I said that I was doing these new Afterword Sessions? And I’m happy to say that Shannon and Matt (wedding part 1, part 2, and e-session) came out for my first one ever!  Who says that your engagement sessions and wedding pictures are the only ones you should have until you either have kids? We did these in downtown Geneva around my studio, it has some AMAZING photo locations and I’m so happy that my studio is there!

Shannon and Matt are one of my favorite couples, not only because they believed in me in my early days but because they’re just my kind of people.  Funny, sarcastic, and they laugh a lot.  They may even find me pretty hilarious too, which is also a bonus.

And this was the time that I learned Matt was also colorblind and grass was orange (David’s colorblind too…I make fun of him all the time…but he brings it on himself, he tells me what color I’m wearing and it’s always wrong haha). And we got quite the crowd for the one when I laid on the ground!

So go ahead, send me an email and schedule an afterword, doesn’t matter if you’ve only been married a year, 6 months or 3 years, you deserve pictures of you and your honey! And bring any pets along too if you want!
