Lisa and Shawn’s wedding was actually really close to me! It was nice not to have a long drive home for sure! And I knew where I was going (for the most part…haha). It was a lot of fun and they had me laughing all night long! Lisa is the cousin of my first ever wedding client, Danielle so it was really fun to see her growing family again over a year later! But enough about that, here’s the pictures they’ve been waiting for!

Shawn gave these to me when I asked him to just look at me. I’m hoping one of these makes it as a headshot. haha

Why hello there all you faithful blog stalkers (I love you, you know that right?)

Just want to drop a line to say that I am almost fully booked for 2010 and I know there’s a LOT of holiday engagements that are happening but I’m almost to my capacity! I will be taking 8 more weddings in 2010 to photograph, any more than that I fear that I won’t be able to stay above water!

April is pretty open, May has only one date available (May 8), June except for Fridays and Sundays are booked, July has a few dates available, August has one Saturday (August 21) that is available, September also only has one available (September 11), October is pretty available with only one lucky date booked (Hi Stephanie!), and November and December are wide open!

Discounts for January-March weddings are available as well! Just send me an email with a question!

It’s been a whirlwind crazy year! I’m working on some items to make my current clients lives easier so they don’t have to think about questions, they get them answered beforehand! I’m demystifying what it means to have me photograph your wedding with lots of little reminders and answers to the questions you want to know! If you have any specific questions for me, just go ahead and email them over! I’ll get back to you soon (unless it’s the holidays then I’m probably on my iphone and just checked to see if it was an emergency!)

I’ve got some cute pictures of Isabelle to put up and a LONG update about her, if you’re my friend on facebook or follow me on twitter, you know we’ve been dealing with some pretty difficult separation anxiety, so that is really taking a toll on me! But we’re working on it!

So remember, EIGHT weddings will be lucky enough to be booked for next year! Only 8! Unless you beg-plead-and-promise-me-starbucks!

Ok, so it’s no surprise, I can’t really write much in the mornings right? So I’ll make this short because I KNOW you’re here for the continuation of Karen and Greg’s wedding slideshow! Their reception was held at Belvedere Banquets in Elk Grove Village (1170 W Devon Ave Elk Grove Village, IL 60007-3214 (847) 534-0600?) and the staff there was just great! My friend Don from XL Entertainment was there to keep the dance floor packed all night long (and he really kept it going all night long! And it was a party, I love working with Don, he truly gets it when it comes to reception music! I also had a great time working with their videographer Don Bloom, he was really a pleasure and awesome, so if you’re looking for either a DJ or Videographer, look into Don and Don!

I would also like to thank my wonderful hubby for coming along with me to be the 2nd shooter, he did a fabulous job and I couldn’t have been happier and I’m sure Karen and Greg agree when they see their wedding images!!

I’m up early getting Karen and Greg’s slideshow(s) together! So they had a TON of images, left me a ton of time (despite what the sun had in mind!) so I just couldn’t put it all in one, so you’ll get round two soon, like almost immediately…

I had a great time photographing their wedding day and despite I got home into the wee hours of the morning I knew Karen and Greg were still awake since they were hoping on a plane to their honeymoon at some early hour (I believe it was 5, but had to be at the airport by 3:30 or 4! Yikes!).

Ok, ok, slideshow right? That’s what you came here for right?
