Me and Jenn met up at Redfield Estates, we got eaten by mosquitoes, we laid in the grass, we got scared by some sort of very scary beetle that attached itself to her dress (which I so very courageously removed…ok, so I panicked…), got visited by a raccoon and some bunnies! Needless to say, we had a lot of fun and laughed too!

I love doing trash the dress sessions! Even if I didn’t shoot your wedding! They’re just so much fun to me and I get to try a lot of new things that I normally don’t have time for during the wedding day or I really can’t ask you to lay on the ground, well, I could, but you probably wouldn’t oblige! My brides, let me know what you’re comfortable with on your day, blankets and sweaters can be sat on!

Lauren and Brian were troupers. I decided at their session I would not use my trusty zoom and really challenge myself! It was DEFINITELY harder than I thought to change the way I shoot (because really, zooming with your feet when you’re used to doing it with your hands, is a bit rough!) But I have to say that I love the way these turned out!

We hit up Lincoln Park Zoo area and I was so relieved! I’ve been in Millennium Park so much lately I just do the same type of thing with a new thing here and there but seriously, I love the Lincoln Park area and find it so much fun!

So since I’ve been at this over a year now, I thought I’d add something special for the next month.

For my 2010 clients, if you book with me before August 31 you get to choose an extra!!
-either these really cute set of 3×3 accordian albums to gift to parents or keep in your purse, one set from your wedding and another set from your engagement session.
-OR a 8×10 album of your engagement session to use as a guestbook. It will be 10 pages/20 sides.

So that’s my anniversary special! Those 2010 clients who have already booked can partake in this, they just have to email me by August 31st what extra they want!
