So we did some back to back engagement session and I promised Brooke and Kevin that I’d be quick like a bunny with these, but I got engrossed in catching up on weddings! But the 2nd set is promised to come much faster

Oh this was a lovely at home reception with Brooke and Brett! Their wedding day was unfortunately during a torential downpour, so they really wanted a lot of pictures, so here they are!

The wonderful Kristen at Kio Kreations did the florals, love everytime I get to work with her!!

And also, the lovely slideshow music has been generously provided by Nick West. He’s an up and coming artist and let’s just say, I LOVE his stuff. You can download him off of iTunes as well!

Ok, enough of the pimping you want the show…(p.s. my google reader friends, you can’t see the show unless you come to my page )

Ok, I need to gauge some interest before I invest in a REALLY cool photobooth that knocks the socks off of my original plan.

Here’s what it has: touchscreen when using it, live view (you can see it as you take it), and you can arrange your 4×6 prints however you want.  But come on, TOUCHSCREEN.  Now as you expect this is a BIG investment on my end.  I need 6 weddings to say they want it for me to even break even!  And now how that would cost: $400 per night and you’d get up to 200 sheets of paper.

So if you’re interested, you need to send me an email to commit to it, it’s pretty amazing really!  And I’ll even bring props!

Second, next boudoir marathon.  August 30th.  Chicago.

Currently NO one has any times and they are: 9am, 11, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm.   Cost this time around is $250 (my costs have increased!  Eep!)

Ok, so remember when I said I’d do this?  Yep, I would’ve let my adorable-and-so-cute-that-it-hurts puppy do it, but she would’ve just eaten all the paper.  No joke.  She likes paper, a lot and I’m contemplating if I should just ditch the shredder and use her!

1.  omg, it’s tuesday and I totally remembered!  YAY!

2.  I’m having a freaking horrible allergy attack.  I’ve got some Alavert and it seems to be doing the job but if I seem spacey, that’s why, I apparently can’t think these days!

3.  Boudoir sessions still available, email for details!  I’m just letting you know that after these 2 the price will increase!

4.  I have some catching up to do still but I’m still working on it all and I have 3 people who are waiting for their new giant sneak preview slideshows!

5.  How you liking the slideshow thing?  You like?  No like?  Give me something here, I need more songs I know, I’m working on it.

6.  Isabelle is doing well, she’s cute and freaking adorable.

7.  I’m sad that there’s no more Project Runway.  I really loved Tim Gunn and say “make it work” all the time.  I also tried to get when he said “holler at your boy” as my ringtone, didn’t work.  (UPDATE: Thanks Lori!!  They’ve moved it to Lifetime instead of Bravo and it will premiere August 20th….great day btw.)

8.  Big things happening in August, get excited!

9.  Seriously, I can’t believe I developped allergies THIS year.  I mean really.

10.  I don’t want to cook dinner tonight but I’m going to.  Yeah, and I know I still have the giveaway to do, I’m going to do it tomorrow

So Brooke and Brett got married earlier this month in St. Louis but had a nice big reception in Grayslake at Byron Colby Barn and Kristen from Kio Kreations did fabulous with all the flowers but more on those next time.  Here’s a very small few, we did a huge portrait session before the party and luckily Brooke was up for anything at that point!

And that’s all, I figured if I didn’t update today, I never would get around to it!!
