Ok Ok, lay off, I know, it’s a SMALL sneak peek, but I have some big plans for this later this week   I’m just waiting on a few things to come through…mainly because this was a super cool wedding, who else gets married on a rooftop before a cubs game!?  (and my general disclaimer, I have no leanings towards the cubs or the sox or really any other baseball team )

It was a blast to photograph their wedding right before the Chicago Cubs game started! Now that I’ve been in one of the rooftops, I don’t ever want to watch any other way! Luckily it wasn’t too hot on their wedding day and guests were allowed to go indoors to cool off! They used one of the Wrigleyville Rooftops as their wedding venue! Theirs was located at 3609 Sheffield Chicago IL and was just perfect for their wedding!

1.  sorry if I’ve been spastic, WE GOT A PUPPY ON FRIDAY!

2.  We got her from a rescue, you should do similar when you get a puppy   There’s lots of them out there that you can see!

3.  Her name is Isabelle

4.  You will be seeing a lot of her

5.  She’s 10ish weeks old, we’re calling her birthday March 1 to make it easy, no one’s quite sure!

6.  She’s a chocolate lab mix, we’re not sure what the other part is the best guess so far is pointer!

7.  She’s adorable

8.  She’s a handful and a little piggy, she loves her food and is easily bribed with it!

9.  Crate training is tough on me, but not so much on her!

10.  BIG month, lots of weddings and sessions!  I’m drowning right now but going to be caught up soon!

1.  Woot, I remembered and got it in on time!  May is insane for me, so if I take a day or two to respond to an email, don’t stress!  If you’re on day 2 though and need an answer stat, just call me!

2.  ::whew::  I found out I had an affinity for mudding drywall, not something I wanted to know!

3.  All photographers should have a good chiropractor!  The amount of weight I put on my shoulders is insane!

4.  It’s going to be a busy time for me!  I had 2 boudoir sessions and an awesome wedding this past weekend, but man, I am WIPED!

5.  We get the puppy on Friday!!  So I’m busy prepping the house for that!

6.  We’re also finishing our basement, just got the drywall up, next is prime/paint followed by tile, finishing the bar (hello David), carpet and putting up the ceiling tile.  And then I get to get new furniture!

7.  I’m tired and the cure is not for more cowbell, I’m not even sure coffee will help!!

8.  We’re getting the puppy from a rescue, please adopt a dog if you’re looking!!  There’s millions of puppies out there or older dogs!  We plan on getting a 2nd after this one stops being a puppy

9.  Um, you should totally be watching my blog towards May 24.  Just saying, just watch.

Everyone remember Saturday?  Yeah, it was rainy.  All day!  And cloudy and just didn’t seem like it would perk up at all for my session that day.  It rained 5 minutes before we were supposed to start and then, gone.  For the next 45 minutes, nothing!  The sun came out, it was gorgeous and actually quite warm!  I spent the day with Becca and her family doing some pictures at Lilaiia Park in Lombard, this place is gorgeous and would be perfect for wedding pictures!  I need to go back when it’s in full bloom!

And this one is cute, they were looking a frog in the waterfall that hadn’t been hooked up yet.
