My good friend Elisa came to visit and we had a great time!  She lives in Texas so the cold was a bit much for her but she was a trooper because I told her it was heat wave!

We took some maternity pictures after an awesome lunch at Giordano’s (I’m taking her to Malnati’s and Portillo’s next time for their Chocolate Cake Shake!!).

I think this one is my favorite!!

I got some AWESOME sunflare while we were inside, and I love this fountain!  Reminds me so much of Morocco and makes me want to go back!

1.  Can you believe how fast a week goes?  It’s already time for 10 on Tuesday again!!

2.  My wedding album finally came in!!  And yes, this is why I include one in my packages, because it took me 9 months to do my own!!

3.  This weekend is the boudoir marathon!!  I have so much interest for a session in June/July so I’ll keep you posted!!

4.  I went to the Garfield Park Conservatory over the weekend.

1.  It’s actually pretty nice outside comparative to what we’re used to!!  Yay for warm(er) weather!

2.  Did you watch the inauguration?  I did!  It’s funny how fast it goes and the build up to it all isn’t it?

3.  I may be seeing a friend for afar this weekend!!  I hope she makes it in!!

4.  I love chocolate and hate Jillian Michaels right now.

5.  My sample album comes in TOMORROW!!  I can’t wait!!  I’ll take pictures and post of course then!  And I’ll lug it around to engagement sessions where needed!

6.  I may have a photobooth-type option available soon, I’ll let you know when I figure out all the details of how it’ll work!

7.  I need more sleep.

So even though it was snowing on Saturday, I headed to take pictures of this delectable newborn.  Note to self: bring shovel in car to dig yourself out if need be!

She didn’t cry too much but did NOT enjoy being naked so we had to ease her into it   The keyword was patience   Enjoy!

She LOVED this cocoon though!  She didn’t like when we took her out of it!
